Professional info
I am Misako Morita, I’m an Architect, 3D visualizer, Interior & Exhibition designer from Japan, based in Milan, Italy.
I love everything that has to do with architecture, design, art, illustration & photography. I've moved to Milan for these passions.
I believe to be a good example of integration between two cultures, I carry with me precision and reliability from Japan but also flexibility and style from Italy. I speak fluent Italian which has helped me a lot to understand and integrate. Also having lived for three years at a university's dorm gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
My training journey in Italy begins thanks to the Musashino art University which allowed me to attend the faculty of Design at Politecnico di Milano for one year through the exchange program. Subsequently I obtained the master in interior architecture at Politecnico di Milano.
My career began as a designer assistant at Tomita design studio, a very educational experience as I learned the culture for design and I started learning the basics of product design and 2d graphics.
Currently I collaborate mainly with Studio45, who is a historical Milanese company which deals with design and realization of permanent and temporary exhibitions and events at international level. I deal with projects from the conceptual phase to presentations, 2D & 3D modeling and rendering, to executive technical drawing and monitoring the production/final product.
My ambition is to be able to take on new projects and challenges, challenging myself day by day with stimulating realities.
